Area Coordinators
Georgia Equine Rescue League “Area Coordinators” (AC’s) play a pivotal role in providing our front-line support for assisting abused and neglected horses in Georgia Counties. Their dedication to respective counties and efficient response in serving as a public contact for GERL, ensures a smoother process in helping horses, making them an asset to GERL and their designated counties. Even though they may not always receive the spotlight, they are important to our mission and appreciated by GERL.
Area Coordinators assist with many GERL functions in their respective counties, which means that one per county is not enough. We do not want to overburden anyone, therefore, having more than one AC in various counties is the goal. We need AC volunteers at just about any commitment level. We are very excited about the future of GERL and hope that you will join us in our renewed commitment to fight even harder to end equine abuse and neglect in Georgia. If you would like to become an Area Coordinator to assist the GERL in our efforts to help horses in Georgia, please contact the GERL Hot Line at 770-464-0138 and leave your contact information or contact Gloria Bell at gloria@gloriabell.com or call her at (706) 392-7520.
