Let’s Talk About The Money

We raised $34,313 at FUNDRAISERS.
We received $13,695 in MEMBERSHIPS.
We received $29,710 in DONATIONS.
We received $13,250 from a Foundation Grant.
We sold $4,168 in MERCHANDISE.
Feed-A-Horse Program brought in $7,220.
Stallion to Gelding Program brought in $4,818.
Adoption fees brought in $11,200.

TOTAL INCOME FOR 2014 WAS $123,151
Let’s Talk About The Money

We spent $94,297 assisting horses:

We provided the GDA with $57,401 in goods
& services.
Mansfield and Decatur Impounds - $45,301
Lee Arrendale Prison Impound – $6,674
Pulaski Prison Impound - $5,320
We spent approximately $961 to assist individuals with lost jobs and health issues to feed and vet their horses.
We spent $ 1,610 to assist Georgia Animal Control agencies with the care of impounded horses.
We spent $8,302 on castrations.
We spent $26,023 on GERL foster care.
We spent $27,666 on Education and Promotions
We spent $6,489 on FUNDRAISING EVENTS.
We spent $575 on MULTI-COUNTY MEETINGS.
We spent $1,553 on MERCHANDISE.
We spent $11,163 on the GERL NEWSLETTERS.
We spent $7,886 on OPERATIONS (insurance, postage etc.).


TOTAL EXPENSES FOR 2014 WERE $123,304.
